The Power Of Love
The Power Of God's Love
Propitiation: the act of appeasing a God, spirit or person
1Jn;4-8
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
God's love for his man was so strong even in the garden when man failed, eating the fruit of Satan's lies (Hosea:10-13), God didn't throw him away but gave him another chance to receive eternal life by sending Jesus as a sin sacrifice for mankind. Jesus made the perfect atonement for man.
Jesus was willing to lay down his God-ship and become man, that through him man could become GOD if he endure to the end IN CHRIST. Matt:24-13>> He that endure to the end the same.....
2Tim:2-3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
We walk by faith not by sight (2Corth:5-7) Faith worketh by love (Gal:5-6)
The safest place in the world today is in Christ Jesus; (dead or alive)
1Corth:6-17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
Heb:10,4-7 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
Let's look at the power of God's love for Israel when he brought them out of Egypt and layed his hands on the Egyptians to punish them for how they treated his people.
Ten times the Lord pledged the Egyptians and sent evil angels to do his business. Ps:78,42-53 Finally he killed the firstborn of everyone that didn't have the blood of a first born lamb without spot or blemish over the door post and the side post of their house.
The Lord had Israel to spoil Egypt of their silver, gold, clothes and what they desired of the Egyptians as they left Egypt to journey in the wilderness. Ex:12,35-36
Deut:32,12-13,15-17,20
12 So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.
16 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.
20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.Is:63,7-10
I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
8 For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour.
Rom l3-10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. What law? The Ten Commandments. God's Royal Law!!! Ex:20,1-17, 1Jn:2,3-4
Many people fail when it comes to loving others because true love come's from the heart, even when it comes to loving oneself. If the love of God is in your heart, love don't behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
1Jn:4,8-9
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. We love him because he first loved me.
So you don't know how to love if you don't know God, "God is love", his very being is love, and you can't know God except you keep his commandments.
Many people say they are blessed of the Lord, but if you're not keeping the commandments: God don't know you, he said I never new you, he don't know that you exist so why would he throw his blessing in the air.
God's love is never ending to those that keep his commandments, his love is forever to those that keep his covenant, it is the foundation of every thing that has to do with God. Ex:20-6
Prov:16-7 When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
Is:55,8-9
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
Ephe:5-25
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word
2Corth:5-16 This is how God see you not after the flesh, but by the word of God
God will fight our battles; Will you fight for someone you love?
2Chron;20,1-25 ..............
2Corth:5-19: God want his man back!!!
To
wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not
imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word
of reconciliation.
Phil:2-13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Matt:22:36-39 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,
19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Every promise of God is based on his love for his people that believe in him. The world say: I love you if, I love you because, or I love you when, that is the mentality of the old man, I do for you, you do for me.
Jer:29-11
Traditions of men make the love of God of none effect
God's love is unconditional to the church thats in covenant with him and keep his commandments.
Some might say you have the poor with you always to those that are struggling, but you don't have to stay that way why? because Jesus is not poor or sick, his promise to the body of Christ is to supply all our needs according to his riches in glory. We have to trust his word and be patient. All of God's word is according to your faith in Him.
So what is the unconditional love of God? It's a love that doesn't
depend on man. It's a love that depends on God alone. It has nothing to
do with you or I. God's love depends entirely on him, he is love.
So don't focus on your love for God. Put your focus on His love for you. Your love for God will be a response to His love for you.
When you receive the love that He has for you, you will love Him and others with no problem.
Jn:15,12-13,
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
Matthew 7:11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
Gal:5,22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
God showed Israel and Pharaoh His mighty power when he plagued Egypt those 10 times.
God opened the red sea and Israel walked on dry ground.
God Gave Israel wealth and riches when they left Egypt
He sent bread from heaven, and gave them water from a rock.
There is so much to say about God's love, my point today is to let you know Israel and those in the body of Christ trust in his love, ask God to give you a revelation of his love toward you, I believe you will be blessed.
1Corth:13,1-13
We must realize there is another side of God, his anger that will come upon those that do not keep his commandments, statues, and judgements, don't let that be you!!! A quick look at God's anger at his return.
Let us embrace God's love by keeping his law, statues and judgements with hope at his return we will be among those caught up in the first resurrection.
